Which one is better education or experience?and why? And I am not looking for both in the answer.
Is education better ? Is experience better? Do you mean to say acquiring a good degree is better when you say education? education is theoretical knowledge and experience is practical knowledge.
This depends on who is asking this question. Is is difficult to see them as separate entities!
Education for the sake of education is pointless if it is not put to practical use. In today’s highly competitive world , where one educated person is pitted against the other, the level of education and the reputation of the educational institute where one studied have become more important than the true knowledge one gets from them. This is clearly seen in the selection pattern of the recruiters. A good degree / education is not enough in a given discipline but it has to be acquired from an ivy league institution in order to get a good sought after job. We all hear about scores the students achieve these days! If one has achieved93% , the other will have gained a score of96.4% and yet another has score of98.97%. Does this mean that good education has been imparted or received? So what is better education needs to be defined before we ask the captioned question.
Education tempered with right kind of experience is essential. Education may not constitute what we gain through experience. Where as there is education happening while you gain experience when we interpret education as a means of acquiring knowledge.
Education and Experience are like the two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other.
For arguments sake, Education is important for the one seeking education. For one seeking to gain experience after education, experience assumes greater importance. Educated persons are known to be rejected during recruitment process for want of experience of a year or two!
A good education leads to better employment that may lead to gathering good experience. As one progresses in one’s career, the higher level of education achieved earlier as the foundation helps in gaining higher positions and probably to greater experience.
Today it is even more pronounced that, one is required to get oneself educated again and again to be successful in career. Rapid changes in technology and work environment requires us to update our education and knowledge periodically in order to remain relevant.
You will also observe that most of us are in a job that is not our chosen field of specialty. Often we are in a job by chance and not in our chosen field of education. I know many people who are astoundingly successful in their family business that simply did not utilize their specialized education or degree. For example, a friend of mine is a successful vegetable oil producer and a popular brand owner today. His foreign education in computer science has taken a back seat. He has acquired fantastic and enviable experience today as he achieved national recognition for his brand which was virtually unknown a few years ago.
As such, we need to define the terms education and experience to be able to judge which one is better. Education without relevant experience and experience without proper educational foundation are incomplete and work in progress
education is first. however specially in the MENA region students don't work as long as they are students. this leads to graduates without zero profession experience, which is extremely hard for them then to find a job
best will be for students to find a student intern or a student job within a company while he/she is studying. and by doing this it is easier to jump on track after graduation. and basically he/she will have experience next to his/her education.
education is better than Experience becuase if you learn about some thing you can acquire an experience in it with the aid of this education and not vice versa.
Education is always better than experience at all stages in your life. Today, education teaches you and prepares you for something in one year which another person learned in10 years, for example, though his personal or professional experience. Once you acquire the right education and skills you are ready to enter the professional life. The extra experience that you need will come in later years in your life to elevate your status.
