Greed is a killing behavior of any sales person's success.

Externally, customers will loose trust in the sales person, as they will notice that his major concern is selling and achieving more sales results rather than serving them and looking for their problems and needs.

Internally, it will increase unfair competition, jealousy, careerism and selfishness.

Besides, greedy attitude will encourage someone to concentrate on achievements rather than methods. So it will be easy to choose illegal, unethical and spurious methods to get these achievements.

Greed make people tough and look nervous. No use of it neither for salesperson nor for anybody else.

Salesperson may turn into a persona non grata

Assuming greed to take credit of others work? or passing on the buck for a bad job done?

Colleagues should correct such person if required report to the concerned person.

Replace greed with open ended policy of defined incentives on each achievement a nd killed after or related effects. Greed is built in phenomina in all humans with varied strength. Be realistic.
