Drift losses refer to the amount of total tower water flow escaping the cooling tower. Because of their operation principle, which requires spraying water across or through which a stream of air is passing, water droplets are incorporated into the air stream. Os one of the components of the make up water in a cooling tower. Thanks Paulo Santos
