Can Experience be a reason for losing positions?

i don't believe experience is the reason for losing positions but the contrary its a good reason to gaining a position.

When you lose a position its because:

- you are unable to meet up with new trends and market requirements

- you are not able to achieve shareholder, management goals and objectives

- you have become a leader but have no leadership

- your experience has become irrelevant to the job you are handling and which requires different skills.
