Why only Sinusoidal wave is generated and chosen to supply,transmit, distribute and consume at the user end?

Why not any other waveform like Triangular,trapezoidal,square,ramp etc.,. is generated?

It has special properties, one of which is the following. No other periodic wave will pass through a linear network containing energy storage elements, (capacitors and inductors) and leave with the same frequency and shape except for phase and amplitude changes. All those other waves will not have the same output shape as the input shape. That is because the derivative and integral of a sinusoidal wave are the same except for phase differences.

The rotation of the generator can create sine wave and cant create sawteeth or square signals

also a pure sine wave is the best in terms of harmonic contents, a pure sine contains no harmonics and that means better power quality .
