Measuring your performance in internet space is vital to see how your business is being taken by the client community.1.
Type your business name followed by reviews.
Example: ‘XYZ reviews’ (This is the ‘Google way’ of doing things) This will list all web pages that have reviews listed on your business.
Read them to know what people are talking about your business.
Play around with keywords to refine your search if it returns a zillion results.2.
Take a close look at your website traffic behaviour Use ‘Google Analytics’ (or other web metric software) to see the rate of your returning vs new visitors, the amount of time they spend on your website on an average, number of pages visited etc.3.
Check closely your social media networks (facebook, twitter, googleplus etc).
Identify a theme within your facebook friends or twitter followers.
Are they excited to engage in discussions with you? Do they share your posts and retweet? Are there more ‘likers’ than ‘commenters’ or vice-versa?
