Revenue generated by sale of Fixed Assets or revenue that will benefit the organization over many accounting years is called capital revenue.

Capital revenue is a revenue which come on investment. If a company manufacture cars and also perform services to repair the cars in this case first one earning called capital revenue and second one called service revenue.

capital is the fund invested to create more wealth and it is the source of the basis of revenue,revenue is the income generated through the engagement of capital in a business.

As a lay man,capital revenue is the main source of revenue generated by a firm,the foundation that sustains the existence of the cpmpany.

Capital Revenue is called Capital Income. Capital Income is income received on the investment in bonds, debentures, share and similar investments. The income is received on the wealth of the entity without work. Sale of fixed assets with any reason falls under the category of Other income and not Capital Revenue or Capital Income.
