Hello,

These are the following steps need to be taken when managing a change:

1. If it is a normal change:

a. Is all the required inputs such as Installation plan, backout plan and the business justification provided.

b. If the change is executed, what would be the impact on the set system?

b. Has the change been approved by the respective stake holders and has been through the CAB (Change Advisory Board).

2. If it is an emergency change:

a. What is the impact of the outage and is the change really required.

b. If the change is required, is all the stake holders informed and necessary approvals received from the ECAB or the emergency CAB.
