What do you use to ignite your learners' creativity, to motivate them to learn or to take part in the process of learning in the class environment?

To ignite learners we have to connect the current lesson to a topic they like. For example if the students are foremen in construction and you are conducting a lesson about professions you should include their professions in the lesson supporting your idea with photos and videos ...etc. That way they will find it interesting to receive more topics to apply.
