I was providing staff development for English language teachers in another country. I feel very comfortable training on integrating technology into the classroom teaching and had a session on this. It went well, but I felt like something wasn't quite right. They needed something before they jumped into integrating technology. I have my own ideas but I am interested in what you have to say.

before introducing new technologies in teaching we used to teach successfully using mag pictures,drawings,concrete objects,classroom situations...the approaches were efficient easy to learn and improve..but the best and most important is the human being (the teacher)...before dealing with technologies the teacher should or must know that he has to love the job and own right attitudes and feelings and right thinking towards his students and his duty..in other words technology is just an optoinal point..leraners shoul be ready to learn and respect and love the topic and the teachers and if they a
Yes, I agree and that is why I think that I jumped to quickly to this level of training. I think that they just needed other trainings to prepare them to ask "Why so we need to use technology in our lessons?"
