I have a question for those who have experience in electronics, let suppose that we have a12volts,30watts fan motor, and we have to run that motor on a12volt battery, with100Amps or higher, then how can we control the current flow? what should we do to control the current and maximize the battery backup.
No need for current control if the rotor is free to move, as the motor draws only its rated current. Blocking the rotor damages the motor due to over current. Use a2.5A fuse to protect the motor.(30/12)
no need of any resistance the fan will consume the same amount of amp what it needs if there is any other resistance you put you will slow it down
I understand you use battery12V for supply fan, but maybe control battery voltage, with help of voltage control relay with output relay contacts for disconnect Fan power supply?
Bro just use H bridge to control it.use regeneration method if possible to maximize the battery timing
for control current you have to mesure a shunt resistor voltage with adc input and with a transistor control you can switch on or off your supply. but if you want to have a simple current limit you can use a simple régulaorv in series with a current régulaor that you can limit it with a potentiometer .
