Hello All, I have quite a bunch of questions and im really hoping for ur professional advice: im coming from a project management background, but i have been offered recently a job as a trade lane manager for a logistics company in Dubai. Since i have no experience at all in this field, i wld like to ask what attributes and characteristics do u consider as unevitable in this field for a trade lane manager? Is the trade lane manager developing sales goals together with a sales team or alone? Do u think a sales training will definitely compensate my lack of experience and helping me into achieving a logistics corporate targets asap? Do u consider a position as a trade lane manager for a women maybe as too tough? How do u generate new customers in logistic services, what is the strategic planning, and do u consider100000 aed/month net profit in the first months and500000aed/month after a year as a realistic sales goal? How much pressure there is really behind this job? How does a typical day/ week of a trade lane manager look like?
first of all should be expertise and familiar to computer and advertisment and morally dont be nervous and finally be amorous his or her job./
I will discuss these goals with the manager, and try to correct those goals in line with the correct action plans.
