Here is i am telling you simple2 Commands.

1: Press ALT i R (For Row Insert)

2: Press ALT i C (For Columns insert)

Forget the mouse Cursor :-)

You can do that by put the cursor at the column/row then press right click and select from the list insert option

right click on any column or row header and choose insert
