Moodle is a learning software. It is used for distance education; it is used to create private websites with online courses for educators and trainers to achieve learning goals.

MOODLE is the abbreviation for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment. It is the most widely used free open source learning management system (LMS) in the world. Basically it's an e learning platform which was developed in2002 by Martin. It became popular in short time and it's claimed that more than70 million people are using it. The number is at increase day by day.

Initially it was used by tertiary learners but gradually it is gaining popularity even at primary level learners.

Like every new idea there are pros and cons of MOODLES, still it's considered an easy and cheap LMS.
