well it is considerably important to a well established organisation to make periodical internal audit, which in turn help the organisation to have good records of company over long time, and can evaluate the internal expenses.

Yes, I beleive internal audit is important doesnt  matter  if is private or governamental industries.  Crystal clear in all topics and processes.   No fear to audits because is the best way to see if the things are going in a good way or not
