a) is the correct answer.

=today() returns

2015/05/14

and =now() returns the date today, now that I have opened the worksheet, so the date and time will change every time I open the worksheet.  Used in Printed :     =now().

What would be great to know is if the =today() is volatile, in that it changes when opened tomorrow.

If I use ................Control + : Excel also insert today's dates which is non-volatile, tomorrow when opened, this date will remain unchanged.
