Yes it could be different.

It depends on many, some are:

- standard of the company and how much is it applied.

- workers culture

- Understanding for the EHS concepts

- Cooperation and peers effect

How long does it take?

Yes ABSOLUTELY!!! There are many variables that need to be taken into consideration, the following points would need to be taken on board,

The HSE policies & procedures of a paticular company

The commitment to safety of a companies top management

The safety infrastructure put in place by a companies HSE management

The experience and commitment of Hse Management and all HSE officers

The training provided to all project employees, to ensure that they remain injury free at the end of each and every working day.

If you take into consideration the above factors, you will see and understand why it is virtually impossible for companes regardless of size or same size can be the same, obviously they will be different, but ultimately have the same safety goals,

Acheivement of a good H&S culture is dependent on genuine input and commitment from management and supervision, Hse management and Hse officers  need to ensure that they have the right procedures , inductions and training in place to ensure that all workers have a good understanding of the projects H&S culture before they actually go onto and start the project.

Yes it can be. It depends on the maturity of the company with regards to where it is in terems of the four pllilars of winning the hearts and minds on employess viz; enggaging and encouraging positive safety performance against always using negative maens of blaming employees when something goes wrong, always using what has worked and not aas a learning opportunity of growing and looking at new ways of evolving the company culture instead of remaining stagnant.

Yes in some ways it could be different but the Occupational Health and Safety Act assist us and also states clearly the Regulations of what How When we must follow Every company or organization has different Legislation's, Policy and Procedures and does not matter the size of a company or the Construction, Safety is Safety you can addapt to the terms and size of any organization as long as you stay in line with the principles of the Act. Not all situations are the same and can be easier manage depends conditions of the work areas or work practices.

Always remember on the Job training is important the fact of Inductions training sessions, awareness of Hazards and Risk factors that relates to incidents or accidents for your employees, you can decide weekly or monthly schedules this will help people to understand what their roles and purpose will be. Make it interesting for everyone to undesrtand and don't be a policeman that will definately delay the culture.

Safety Culture takes time but is about planning and strategize the way you manage and do regular inspections feedback sessions, Toolbox talks  Get people involved in certain roles will depend on the type of culture you want. Remember Safety is everybodies Responsibility if it is at Home or Work or in your Car.

Yes because a culture of health and safety depends on the ability of workers in a particular company to comply with occupational safety and health regulations

yes i can be different depending on different factors like implementation of the safety health and environment as their standards applies. Also the number of workers the organisation have as leads to the implemetation of the SHE policy and required procedures.

It also depend on the employee and managemeent commitment, the workplac conditions and competancy of the people working in that organisation

It is quite possible for same-sized companies to have differing helth and safety cultures. it is important to note that the biggest determinant of health and safety culture is the industrial/economic sector within which an organization operates. Thus, companies with different sizes working in the same economic sector will probably be more similar in terms of health and safety culture. Other determinants of health and safety culture to mention a few include;

1. Management Policies.

2. Industry Regulations.

3. Legislation.
