(b)Results-oriented appraisal implies evaluating an individual based on actual job performance. Hence, option (b) is correct.

In my opinion, all of those categories are only to dramatize the question. The best of the appraisal evaluation goes to the one, who helps her organization achieve its goals. A manager does not necessarily apply the same criteria stick to evaluate a diverse group of employee categories.
