You should start work on swift as it is new and enrich with new features. Easy to read/write. Now you can work on server side programming with swift.

Currently i am using Objective-C only. For me, Its is very convenient to use. But, i am willing to learning SWIFT. So, i will start learning soon.

I prefer SWIFT, Thanks to several key features, SWIFT has the potential to become the de-facto programming language for creating immersive, responsive, consumer-facing applications for years to come.

Again, answer goes with personal opinions and we have to respect everyone view.

As of Apr 2016, I would say Objective-C is what I preferred. I don't say SWIFT is not good, but looking at the plugins available as of now for swift are way lesser then compared to Objective-C.

For me, I have one statement as "I can do everything what other can do in Swift but other can't do everything what I do in Objective-C."

And yes, swift have some bugs too.

I will recommend Sift , because it has lot of feature , less coding , so less files only required . Swift is easy to learn.

Obj C is highly used language, but swift lots of new and exciting things on the table . Like swift is more safer in terms of null pointer exception. Swift is more faster than OBJ C. Swift implement GEMM algo and bring lot of improvement in it. You can also integrate swift in old projects. In job perceptive Swift have less developer as compared to OBJ C.Now people start shifting to swift. Knowing swift give you edge on them.

I prefer both.Objective-C will give you a highly marketable skill today.  Swift will give you a highly marketable skill in two years. One drawback jumping into swift NOW is that there aren't a lot of great3rd party swift libraries YET.
