When you have fear of failing marketing stategy there is less chance of success because it reduces conviction to adopt a particular strategy with determination, you will be more concerned in cutting costs of marketting campaign, thus affecting introduction of new customers and reduced market share hence failure

I agree, solely on the business principle that the greater the risk he greater the reward. With that being said if he risks taken have more positives than negatives in the long run then you're strategy is in the right place, if the negatives outweigh the positives then you need more research to better understand the industry you are in.

Moreover, this healthy fear means you are trying to implement a strategy that might be different than its previous strategy. Meaning that the company is trying to change or you are trying something new, and in the fast paced world we live in change is always good to help keep up with new ideas and innovation.
