One thing one should always remember that 'there is no generic resume'. This is a skill to express in minimum possible words. Job specification and resume go together, and they must verify each other at least by75%. There are so many other things that may be considered while drafting a resume such as  who this resume is going to ( who is hiring manager). Resume writing has become a science now-a-day when it should be easy ans true representation of applicant.
