Well, you can't depend on E-Books only for educational literature or any scientific knowledge, looking for that in books and research at public, university and culture libraries
I don't think so, there is always a higher value for printed books from my own point of view. However, ebooks are also great sources for knowledge and cannot be taken for granted.
It could be, we have to try it and see if it does change it to the better or worse :)
We can't declare e-books as the best but we can claim these as a fast source to knowledge.
It depends entirely on what the preference of the reader is. If the reader prefers printed material then ebooks are not the best. The preference of the reader will dictate whether ebooks is the best option.
I regularly read e books and our good old paper books.
But the reality is a500 page normal book weight more than500 gram !! It weight kilos if we consider to pick2 three books.
An e book is a product of digital era and it comes between1 MEGABYTE TO50 MEGA BYTE Which is much smaller compare to our16GB SMART PHONE
So we could literally carry1000 e book in our smart phone !!! how COOL is that??
Amazon's "kindle fire" is a device that only designed to manage and read e book. There are so many devices in market Designed specifically to read e BOOK !!!
Ebook company's allow people to read about few pages by giving beta versions of a full book. It help people to decide whether to buy it or not.
The price of a Digital or ebook version is much lesser than the paper back version
So when it comes to ebook , We could carry lot more, price is less, we could copy and transfer them (that is known as portable also). E books are ONE of the best way to present educational literature But we miss smelling the pages, touching the paper etc.. it is SAD :(
I agree with the answers been added by EXPERTS...................... Thanks
