You need to check the RAM of your Acer Laptop to be sure they are firmly fixed to the board. You may also consider replacing the RAM with a working RAM to be sure. Once that is eliminated your screen should have a display. If the problem persist, you need to open up your laptop screen and make sure the display cables are well seated too. This should resolve the problem.

Two main reasons are

1. RAM may be a problem, may be one slot is not working, try to remove every slot and put it again, then restart the laoptop.

2. It may be the problem with the laptop lcd screen, power supply or something damage

There are several issues regarding of no display:

1) RAM issue: Check the RAM removing from slot placing in different RAM slot, first clean the RAM slot with anything that is soft like brush so no dust particles in there If still doesn't work swap the RAM by inserting any working RAM and check.

2) Hardware issue: First remove the LCD display frame check the video cable connected to LCD is not lose if still insist use multimeter check the 10volt DC coming in flv inverter or not. Swap each parts LCD Screen and video cable

3) Motherboard issue: If anything any metal touching crossconnection like any short removes and clean the board. Check the VGA chip section 5v dc showing multimeter or not

If it is actually "booting" then GPU or display screen is deffective, also connection between LCD and motherboard could be severed, faulty cable
