Should there be a legal limit to the right of employer's right to hire and fire? If yes or no, what is the rationale of it?

The question has been unresolved for decades in diffrent jurisdictions as there is a huge impact of it on investment especially in third world countries.

No! Setting a limit to employers' rights to hire and fire could mean cutting their rights, especially in cases of wrong recruitments. More so, they have invested their time, money and what have you in building a company, why shouldn't they be in control?

What I think should be done is a tighter noose around disengagement processes via legislations, to put unfair lay-offs in check.
