Bounces usually reports when a user come to your website and returns immediately without visiting another page in the website. It is a metric to find how relevant is your site. For blogs and other news publishing sites a high bounce rate is a usual thing but reducing it is always an advantage.

Good landing page optimization tactics can help to reduce bounce rates greatly. Content info links, leading a reader to other interesting blog posts, actionable call-to-action (CTA's) etc are some of the technques used. Hope it helps to find more .

A few things to take note of,

Try to improve the loading speed

Do not use large images on the landing page

Use call-to-action links (Make it easy for a user to find and click)

Make navigation around your website simple and easy

In order to decrease bounce rate , first you have to make sure your website is compatible with all browsers using the different landing page testing techniques

second , make sure that you are getting the right targeted visitors to your website by selecting audience and driving the to the perfect landing page

also , you have to check your landing pages to be informative enough so the visitor will be curious to get more details about you product

There are a lot of reason for a high bounce rate depending on the contents of your webpage as well as you industry. Along with these reasons are specific ways to deal with each one.

Aforementioned, are social media and natural search results. Along with having a very "catchy" landing page. The best way to test how reactive your landing page is to use tools such as heatmaps etc. This will show you specifically which parts of your landing page is the issue.

Another is, in today's world. At least1 in4 web surfers do so in a portable device. Is your website responsive enough for those visitors? IF not, that adds to your bounce rate. No one wants to scroll and squint they're eyes to read and go through your site no matter how attractive it is.

Another factor you'll need to look at is where you're traffic is coming from... Do you offer the language to properly communicate with your visitors?

Anyway there's still plenty of other factors as I said, but it all depends on your specific situation.

Hope that helps in a way :)

It is all the Users' choice.which means, we have to think about two main points:1- traffic sources

2-landing pages

for traffic sources, we mainly have refereed sources and direct sources, so think first about the refereed sources if we target the right audiences over those channels(social media, search engines).

If it is direct traffic so lets move to the next point.Landing Pages, then simply  think about website speed , and content. relevancy. Thanks

Hie Dear.

Bounce rate increases when the maximum number visiting yo website visit that same page then close it means they do not move to any other page.To reduce the bounce rate you can do interlinking of related articles and the post that is receiving maximum number of posts...have some links in it so that person move to other web page and ultimately reduces bounce rate..motive is to keep them engaged...Improve the design and loading speed of website .

Thank You :)

There is no proven strategy, However,

1. keep focus on relevancy of meta data and on-page content

2. Loading time of webpage

3. Relevant content should be placed at above the fold region.

We have to add engaging CTA to our website to decrease the bounce rate, as it depends from website to website offering.
