keep in mind before attempting to close a deal over the phone is "knowing when to walk away". All sales representatives accept the fact that not all calls will result in a sealed deal, and you may have to make several calls before you're given the chance to explain your offer and talk about your product or service. In case your product or services do not meet the client's needs, thank them for their time, wish them a nice day and go on to the next call.
Always be prepared.
And by that, I mean making sure that we know the name of the company, office or person you're talking to and a little bit about what they do. We can easily research this information beforehand using Google or any other search engine. But what's even more important than researching our client, is knowing our product! Be prepared for any questions the client might ask about our product.
Be precise, yet friendly.
After we make sure we're talking to the appropriate person, tell them exactly what our product is all about. Stay confident and steer the conversation. Don’t let the client ask us a bunch of questions to find out what we're selling.
Calm and transparency. This is because trust is everything. Patience is also a key factor. More importantly, if you make a promise, stick to it (be it timing or negotiation)The uniqueness of service will make the clients return time and time again.
in order to close deals succesfully over the phone, the most important thing required is follow up. be enthusiastic and develop a lasting relationship with the customer.
Closing deal successfully over telephone is a bit technical which totally depends on situation. I would suggest;
1) Offer a special valued customer deal
2) Show negative consequences of not buying
3) Get them saying Yes and they ll keep saying Yes
It is important to let your customer do the talk. You're role is to ensure that you are there to answer and guide them on the product. Also, in every step on a sale, it is important that you get the customer's committment...every yes to every step is an assurance you're in for a successful close.
Closing deals over the telephone is not a valuable option for me or the company. Personal face to face closure is much more lasting and develops a closer relationship with your professional client.
Summarize the deal details --> Determine the next step --> Confirm and Thank the customer

Gain confidence of the customer by explaining customer that the options provided will meet their requirement and also with this provide a personal touch to their requirement, give examples of the existing customers who are happy with the product and services, also give references of the projects done. At the end of the call check if customer has got any doubts about what you have explained, if no doubts then close the deal by asking how he wants to pay. Keeping customers happy by politely answering their doubts and being friendly throughout the call makes many customers buy the product.
