What skills are required in order to finalize an outstanding video production?

I will take it as you mean in-house production:
1- You will need a proper setup: DSLR Camera "Canon 600 or 650 D will do the job" , Prime Lens 50 1.8, Background (White, black, blue, green and choose as needed), 4 Lighting sources, 1 or 2 reflectors, separate sound recorder "Zoom H4N"
2- You will need some one who knows how to use this setup for shooting.

3- You will need someone with good Adobe premier and Adobe after effects experience, or Finalcut if using Mac.

4- Final and most important, someone who has excellent imagination to write the script and the story board for the video.
