In my Opinion the looks are an important matter in sales, to a certain extent though, meaning it does not have to be limited to physical looks and girls only. Good looks can be achieved through grooming and charisma. Its not about How you look, its about who you are.

Sometimes a very good looking man or woman do not have the charisma or intelligence of a fair looking person. A sale may not be Closed, unless the selling person have selling skills and charisma, whatever the look maybe. Physical good Looks are minor to any sales process, whereas, grooming, charisma, and selling expertise are major. Possessing those three attributes with a good look can just add up to the sales position.
