Yes it is happening, The world we are living now is an era of AI. This is a stage of collecting user data. If you looks at the current trending applications, Every application is collecting user data as much as they can. These data will help in future to predict, assist a user.

eg: Google fit is an application which track your health information. Future the google now is going to tell you how healthy you are  and you was...!

Current available personal assistant application will allow us to set reminders, alarm , shows traffic to work, interested stories, etc..

Applications like Microsoft Cortana, Apple Siri, Google Now is collecting your personal data in different ways.

As per my view, I am sure that, a day will come when all these application is going to assist you with history collected in different stages of your life...

I highly doubt it because as a woman you will want to talk about what happened from last night's serial and sometimes there will be some problems at home with your husband or mother-in-law whereby you will need a specialized answer to your situation.

It really depends. AI lack intentionality, while they can definitely perform some tasks they don't have emotional intelligence. Studies have shown that while IQ does predict a bit of success, EQ is required for a successful and driven employee. AI is still in its prime though, there are no limits to which it can evolve, but for now it is tough for AI to replace secretaries and personal assistants.

Unlikely, there's too many variables and logical inconsistency in human for a machine to operate. It would difficult for PA to operate in forms of cultural, individual and social context but it can find you a nearby hotel though.

Yes, they can as we are moving towards technology world were we need accuracy and less TAT, however, we human likes to cater their queries by human voice instead of IVR by understanding their feelings and working on it to core for quick resolution.

This quite a relative question that would have its answer determined by the context in which it is being asked. The technology of today can overtake the daily mundane and ordinary tasks that P.A.s' and secretaries perform. On the otherhand, when it comes to intellectual tasks and reasoning functions , human intervention and monitoring would be imminent and cannot be solely perfomed by a program.
