When i go through the cover letter, my key focus on:
1 - how applicant address the employer.
2 - subject.
3 - how applicant sum-up his experience and put it into body.
4 - conclusion and over all vocabulary and grammar usage.
Sometime candidates writes too much in cover letter which i believe is useless, one must focus on quick summary and brief history. one pointer i missed, must states the position for which S/he is interested. Thanks!
