With funding in developmental projects be seen as a challenge and sometimes not forth coming, how do you think these two vital tools can help in fund raising and support the good works been carried out by various NPO's/NGO's?
Do you think changing the previous approach used by your organization in the communications department or campaigns can persuade/convince donors to support your projects?
Do you think more training of staffs involved can help?
Major FMCG businesses in India like ITC, HUL, PEPSICO, Godrej, Amul etc. are undertaking communication and education campaigns to market their CSR funding strategies for development programmes in education and healthcare sectors. Other than these, crowdfunding models specifically growth engine types are common on the internet that conduct project funding through advertisments and blogs.
However the baseline is involvement of an accountable initiator who can encourage funding considering its trust bank existing in the market.
Through the communications and awareness campaign that we do it to the development project, we are giving the funder and the community an idea about what are we going to do, the steps that based on it we are doing our projects, what are the objectives of the projects.
Communication and awareness would be a very important tool in such project. Dealing with different nationality and races we should be able to reach and to know their smallest problem in footing ourselves into their shoes. In my opinion of understanding ones culture we reach the roots of all problems in such a way that in the end we will be able to meet halfway and comes up with a good relationship that would bring success to all our project.
