1.

Unite your team

Today’s multigenerational workforce calls for an adaptable culture that is functional for a variety of different styles and approaches.Understanding people’s motivations and work styles, and being sure to make room for all of them in a united workplace, will help you make great strides in energizing your team.

2.In order to keep employees happy, make every year feel like the first year. Recognize and appreciate your employees as often as possible so their enjoyment and engagement in the job starts high and stays high.

3.Listen, support and protect your employees, and encourage the same behavior among all teams by celebrating instances where great connections occur.

4.Managers should set expectations, identify emerging leaders and support the growth of those individuals through mentorship and training.

By encouraging these leaders to thank their teams often and, in turn, encourage the same behavior among employees, a palpable rise in employee happiness will occur.

5.Choose the values that define your company, and then encourage your employees to express those values in their everyday behavior.

Instituting a recognition program can help breathe life into these values and make them actionable for employees every day.

A happy employee is a productive employee, and you may be surprised at how simple it can be to boost your retention rates.

  1. Make them feel needed within your organization. No one wants to feel disposable. Let your employees know, on a regular basis, how much you appreciate their contributions and how necessary they are to your day-to-day operations.
  2. Allow them to advance. Keeping employees stuck in the same position for numerous years can lead to a high turnover rate. Most employees want at least some chance to advance in their careers and achieve their goals. Make sure you hire from within and that all of your employees understand what it is needed to advance in your company.
  3. Keep the work environment fun. A gloomy workplace is soon an empty workplace. You can keep your employees happy by making sure the environment is pleasing and as stress-free as possible. Hire a professional decorator to make the work area less industrial and more welcoming. Even simple touches can transform a stark office into a happy workplace.
  4. Offer unique benefits. Not all employees are motivated by money. Find unique ways to reward your employees such as offering paid days off for achieving their goals, special office parties, or even regular treats that make employees feel valued.
  5. Never lose the personal touch. Corporate drones are not only unproductive and uninspired, they don’t often stick around very long. Make an effort to learn your employee’s names and address them personally when you see them.

In current scenario all of them are getting fare wages and allowances  from there organisation or employer (otherwise people will not join in that organisation) now a days work place happiness not depends on the wages it depends on work place atmosphere. from my experience I believe these elements which creates bad atmosphere in work place

1, Having a bad boss

2, Heavy work place politics

3, back stabbing of coworkers etc.

In some organisation of India having 'Ethics committys" for preventing these king of practices. In this committy the higher officials like MD, CEO, HR high level management employees will be there, weekly or monthly they will approach low level employees and ask for their feed backs and that feedbacks will be confidential. Doing this practice will helps to maintain a good communication with Higher management with low level employees. and it will prevent malpractise, work place politics and other things which effects the happiness of the employees and company both
