Learning english is not a simple thing to do. It requires long span of time, patience, interest or willingnness and courage. Learning is for everyone, it does not tolerate stigma and discrimination thus everyone in the world as long as you want to learn on how to speak english has the oppurtunity to learn. Since learning is a continuous process in time the people in Iraq will learn speaking engish. You just have to pass through roughs. :) Hope this helps.

You need to drill into their minds the sequence in which parts of speech appear in an English sentence, as compared to Arabic. Many times, in fact more often than not you will find that the place of the VERB, NOUN, ADVERB or ADJECTIVE etc is in a different sequence.
Students will have to learn the new sequence first, then practise speaking correctly formulated English; thoughtfully at fiorst, but then will gain momentum.
It's not easy to learn English ,I think learning a foreign language shoukd be followed by the teacher since the first year ,I mean the starting point for a good foreign language learning is the base of a wonderful learning process
