what may be the best profession change after teaching if some don't want to remain in the same field?
Please note, I am an advocate for teachers. However, I believe that if a teacher is not happy in the classroom, the students are not happy.
Therefore, if you are looking for alternatives to teaching, this can be a high-level place to begin. The skills teachers acquire are in high-demand and they are also transferable to a host of occupations. If you teach, you have alternatives. You can create courses, train, advise, write and still make a difference. Here is a sample list of companies that hire teachers across the field:
It all depends on other skills that we possess. We need to look minutely within us and see our strong points where we can channelize them for an alternative profession.
If you are plainly into academics, even then, there is an array of opportunities. Practice what you preach, meaning if a person teaches entrepreneurship or business management, if he/she chooses to retire from teaching, I think it's best to go in the business industry and create his\\her own business since he\\she knows the fundamentals and basics in doing so. This suggestion also goes to other courses that professors teaches, like economic professors can be an economist, PE teachers can be coaches, etc.
For my work history I changed from teaching to library & I am really happy & relaxed although I still give classes for the community members. This is the most suitable profession after teaching as you will remain in the field of books & education plus researches & some interesting library tasks.
Honestly speaking it is a very difficult question to answer as I think that one can enter teaching field at any time in his/her life.
Well if you are teaching technical stuff, you can opt for that feild.
When teaching as a profession become boring or fair enough for him, one can shut off his mouth on his subject, but the knowledge of that subject can still work for him. His hand can write and become a writer ! He can find out related job where his expertise can be workable ! If subject was known then perhaps more suggestion would come.
