Ask them for a roleplay, or small skits that are presented in a certain theme. For example when i taught my students when to use "should I" I asked them to describe the theme they're in. For example " I'm in a hotel with my wife and we want to order some food so I wanted to confirm with her, Should I order dinner for us?"
