I would suggest you to go for a part time training at Venture Technologies. They are certified by AutoDesk University and certificate values. Venture has some software package offers also sometime. So you can hit two birds with one stone at once with only a little extra amount. Opening software tutorial directly to learn will create confusions. No doubt practice will make you better day by day.

I think the best (and free, getting an AutoCAD license) resource to start using AutoCAD is the AtoCAD online guide included in the product. In the autodesk website you can find several tutorials too...
