it doesn't matter, as long as you love the job.  Once you start loving the job, it has so happened that i was in front of the system for continuous 5 hours straight.   Back pain, nervousness starts only when you are not contracting the job you do.   Rather, go out for smoke, water, juice and then start again.

From experience as a data entry officer, I usually get bored when I sit idle at work so I decided to help myself by enrolling on some online courses (most related to communications and health education, since I was working in a clinic) to increase my knowledge in that subject area.

Revision from previous work: At this moment, it is expected to get busy with the revision from previous work and check for errors if there is any. One can also help other teammates in the data entry department to do some work if there is any available.

Also I will suggest if 'data entry clerks' get involved in some activities in the office other than their job, let's say giving support to the admin department and other department who may need their help. This gesture can increase the relationship among staffs at work and shall enhance team spirit and support within the organization.

Make sure after every forty mintute you take 5 mintute breack as research has linked sitting for long periods of time with a number of health concerns, including obesity and metabolic syndrome .

Too much sitting also seems to increase the risk of death from cardiovascular disease and cancer.
