The first and foremost thing that you need to have is interpersonal skill; which you seem to have. Secondly, teamwork is an outcome of sheer hard work, team alignment, understanding and commitment towards the overall team. You are supposed to kill "ME" in you and would be thinking about the overall group. To me, this is one of the ways to acquire teamwork skill.
