Yes, there is a variety of the softwares which are necessary to learn in capacity of being a Chemical Engineer, such as ANSYS (including all its tools) initiating from the computational fluid domain generation up to the post processing. There is availability of more than 1 approach depending upon the nature of work, applications and output. Aspen (all the tools) are applied specifically for  modeling the process thermodynamics.
