Tools > Document Settings > Units Choose your units. It shall update from previous settings to new one. Applicable only on the document. Not on other files like in assembly... Keep settings initially for files to have standard settings for files created in future.

Choose the options icon from the tools option and to click the document settings and then choose the unit which tab open the desktop and then to change the required unit and to apply and click the ok button.
