How do you plan to accomplish your very important project?? what precautions you take in accomplishing the same?

in order to accomplish ump project one should have done the detail analysis of it and should the rightful resources as per plan in order to accomplish, once initiated then stages need to defined in which evaluation should be done as one is going in the right direction.

On should develop project scope and objectives first and use breakdown structure to identify activities and divide them into manageable tasks, milestone then identified. This should be followed by an effective source plan, identifying labour, equipments and materials needs of the project serving as basis for a financial plan when resources are cost.   A procurement plan should be developed to determine the resources to be purchased, sources and when purchases should be done. As the project can only be effectively implemented with support from relevant stakeholders, communication plan becomes a requisite. To ensure success, a quality plan should b drawn to guide effective implementation. Changes, issues and risks should be identified and planned for effective quality assurance. Documents should properly be handled for reference hence the need for a document plan. Most importantly schedules should be clearly indicated for each activity, task and milestone whilst responsibilities effectively allocated.  All plans should b th end results of tangible forecasts.

Planning is most important thing one should look into & also look into the infrastructure required for the same like manpower, capital. Once planning is done we should monitor its progress and then assess the end result/outcome.
