No. There are many ways of advertising anything, advertising is for social awareness and education. Its more of a responsible and intellectual advertising on how to fully deliver the message to people. Whether to sell,to promote, to educate,to prohibit and to warn.
In our Arab societies, alcohol ads are not preferred...but cigarette ads may be normal
If we were living in a world where good health and manners overweigh the race for money and trade, then of course some products shouldn't be advertised.
To me, anything can be advertised as far is useful to people out there
Profanity and irreligious matters.
i feel in this digital world any thing can be advertised and it should be with proper statutary warning. Products like Alcohol, Tobacco sell inspite of not promoted in any medium. but i feel it is essential to promote the sideeffects of using these products and make awareness mandatory. Let these companies foot the bill.
From a companies point of view it should be marketed and at the same time these products has labeled with statutory warings. So the customer can decide if he needs this product or not. Every product needs to be marketed.
Yes alchohol, Tobacco and dangoures mobile applications etc should not be encouraged by media
No. It is the copy that should be tailored in a way not to cause any harm to vulnerable members of society.
well it depends on your target audience and their demographic, if in MENA then i would say NO to alcohol and tobacco because whoever wants these products will go looking for it anyway.
