As for me , the person needs to have an knowledge in Microsoft Excel because you can perform calculations using the data, or convert the data into graphs or charts for statistical analysis, Word for some important letters and agreement. But most of all, if a person will be working in Finance good knowledge and background in the Accounting Software whether ERP, SAP and etc the concept are the same only the difference is the approach in management reporting.

ERP knowledge is must Like SAP, Oracle, BaaN, People soft, sage any one but more important is the concept of the ERP . Apart from this you must learn :
MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Access,
