Lesson plans are designs for learning. They include these basics:
Objectives/aims:
What is objective or objectives of the lesson. Generally, you should write the objective in terms of learning outcomes.
Procedures/methodology:
State, step-by-step, how you are going to implement your plan.
Materials needed/resources:
This is extremely important to think through ahead of time for teaching this?
Timing
How long will each part of the lesson take?
Assessment of lesson outcomes:
How are you going to know if the lesson outcomes have been achieved?
Self-Evaluation:
How did your lesson go?
