In Marketing Like any aspect of business, you need to understand what you have and what you need then how to reach the target customer:
Try to identify the following:
Geographical location (Which countries do you want to reach)
Target Demographics (Age, Gender, Languages, Education…….)
Competitors (Who is competing with you)
Market Economics (Purchasing power)
Local Marketing Trends (Internet, newspapers, Outdoor advertising)
Now if you are trying to reach customers via online marketing platforms:
Facebook Marketing allows you to target customers by age, gender, and location.
Google Adwords allows you to target customers based on the keywords they search for on search engines (Topic Targeting + Location Targeting).
What I am trying to explain is that reaching your customers depends on who you want to reach and what your product is.
So you to study your product and your customers well then study which marketing platforms allow you to reach those customers efficiently.
