Obviously there is a positive side for risks or else why would we care living and taking risks. when we invest our money in a new investment that is an opportunity risk the calculated balance of this risk considers the balance between profiting and losing and thus such risk cannot be treated similarly as the risk of facing a major earthquake where there is no good coming out of the whole thing.

People have done alot of work on "Positive Risk", no offence but in my opinion there is no such thing. No matter what you say, Risk is a Risk.
What matters is the degree of risk, the return on taking such risk and most important thing that can either make it or break it is your lower right side of the brain which correlates with Risk aversion ;) .
So to summarize that: There is no such thing like positive risk :P Taking risk in not prohbitted/bad , unless you are drunk or not using brain at all ;) Never hasitate to take good/calculated risks.
:) In the end it all depend on your brain which decides your degree of risk aversion.
