I will accept, considering a question.... why they should offer a great job with attractive condition to whom is not an expert,... so might be some potentials that we can count on them and have an attractive challenge.

from my own point of view, if its very far from your domain then you better refuse because even if you accepted you'll be unable to deliver the work accurately and soon will fall into depression, resign or worse be fired. However, if the job is not far from your speciality and you are positive about your ability to serve it more than well then you should go for it and accept.

I would reject the offer and keep looking forward in my field of specialty which I prefer to be a professor of it and earning an acceptable income instead of accepting a new offer for other field which will have a lot of career obstacles and will ruin my previous career accomplishments. So, In conclusion, think for a big picture in your field of specialty and be more intelligent, this will lead to a better future career growth and promotions.

All depending who, how much, location ... and can you take your family?

Do you know anything about this subject ... do you like to know more about it ?

What are the pro and con's.... and what does your inner gut tell you ... (are you reluctant or does something feels odd about that job ...than do not take the job)

I have said no at one time and still do not regret it ... something felt off (not right)...

Ideally I will accept, but reality I wont, passion is what matter most, as per experience you need to focus in what your heart and mind desire then willingness to do the task will follow. take note opportunity will always be there, but love and interest in your chosen field is different issue.
