Egypt will be affected by the current unrest for a while. Apparently the financial structure will be facing drastic changes. The capital injection from Saudi and Gulf countries will surely boost the economy but the deterioration of relationship with Turkey will negatively impact. I expect a time span of3 year for Eygpt to restore ( optimistically ) . Eygpt has a high productively rates and can easily catch-up to go to positive GDP % if political situation smoothed out.

There will be economical impact both short and long term depending on how long the political instability will take to reverse. The long term effects will be felt after some time of stability and security due to external facts and change of the country foreign policy and bilateral relationship.

For the short term effect will be felt as the political instability continues and part of the beginning to stability and security.
