i do not think so , i think that as a leader you should have a skill of a trainer cause the teacher give you informations but the trainer give you informations and skills , the leader should train the staff more than teach them

Yes, if we look at the good leader and the good teacher we find many traits and qualities are in common, a good teacher must have good communication skills, must demonstrate a caring attitude about students, must have outstanding interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with parents, administrators and students, must be flexible, organized and professional, should be a good listener, has to be firm but fair, be supportive and collaborative, give students the opportunity to assume leadership roles, inspires and motivates students to learn, able to develop a mutual respect and trusting relationship with students, always has the passion for education and the subject matter he is teaching, and continuously looking for opportunities to increase student's knowledge,he must also value students' ideas and opinions, and allow them to express their feelings. Of course, many of these are the qualities of leadership, don't you agree.
