from smana you cant get standard friction 

from smana you can get standard velocity

and by that standard velocity you can get friction

As per thumb rules generally used by consultants is that friction loss in various ducts based on velocity of air in feet per minute so various applications the friction factor changes also u have to keep in mind what are systems used for example if you are using santdrap louvers than the fpm or cfm should be based on that criteria as to over come the loss for fresh air .
